Thousands of young ultra-Orthodox Jews have clashed with a liberal Jewish women's group at one of Judaism's holiest sites, the Western Wall, in Jerusalem. Dozens of members of the Women of the Wall group, who are seeking equal prayer rights, had to be escorted away by police. Protesters, many of them women, responded to calls from ultra-Orthodox rabbis to disrupt the group's 30th anniversary service, media reports say. A number of people were reportedly injured in the incident. The Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City - a relic of the Biblical Temple compound - currently has separate sections where men and women are allowed to pray. The Jerusalem Post says members of the group were met by more than 10, ultra-Orthodox women early on Friday morning, with insults exchanged between the two sides.

Social support and well-being among eelocating women: the mediating roles of resilience and optimism. El apoyo social y el bienestar en las mujeres expatriadas: el papel mediador de la resiliencia y el optimismo. The relative lack of research on the relocation of women to foreign assignments prompted this study that focused on a large online community of women in relocation. We examined the relationship between two support types, perceived social support PSS and online support, and well-being measures meaning in life, depression, and loneliness in the new setting. Based on the literature, we hypothesized that a PSS and online support positively relate to personal resilience and optimism, b resilience and optimism positively associate with well-being levels, and c resilience and optimism mediate the association between both types of support and well-being. The results largely reflected the propositions, with some deviations from the expected model, and indicated that resilience was the more prominent mediator at both T1 and T2. A complex pattern of relationships was documented between various types of virtual support and well-being.

A large explosion strikes the airport in the southern Yemeni city of Aden as a plane carrying the newly formed cabinet landed there, security officials say. The source of the blast is not immediately clear. There are no reports of casualties among the government delegation but officials at the scene say they have seen bodies lying on the tarmac and elsewhere at the airport. Images shared on social media from the scene show rubble and broken glass strewn about near the airport building and at least two lifeless bodies, one of them charred, lying on the ground.
